Mrs. Angi Ogea

This year is my 11th year of teaching and my 3rd year at SHHS. I earned my Secondary Math Education degree from McNeese State University in 2012.  I love teaching math and have taught almost every high school level math at one time or another. Most of my teaching career has been here in Calcasieu parish, but I also taught 3 years in Jeff Davis parish.

I am originally from Pennsylvania but moved to Louisiana in 1998 and have lived in the Iowa area since then. I have been married to my sweet husband for 12 years. I have a son, a daughter, and 2 step-daughters. The youngest two children are also students at SHHS. Our family has 2 cats that are quite spoiled. I am an active church member of FBC Moss Bluff where I lead a student small group.

I am passionate about building loving relationships with students and seeing them succeed. I know each of my students has been placed in my class for a reason and can't wait for a great year.
